Our history
In 1957, Tessilfibre s.p.a. began its journey.
Today, we are the ultimate European Company manufacturing and trading in acrylic fibers and boast a processing plant Acrylic Tow to Tops of both 12 stretch breaker Seydel and 12 Rebreaker RSN.
Located in the neighborhood of the textile city of Prato, thanks to 35.000
sq.m. of warehouses our Company can actually stock and handle big
quantities of merchandise in the quickest, safest and most effective way.
We aim at strengthen more and more our cooperation with suppliers and
clients, in order to make sure the most qualitative products are used in our
production and supply chains.
Environment
The company has always been committed to the protection of the environment.
In 2011 we built a photovoltaic system with a total capacity of about 1.8 MW of power.
Some of this green energy is now used in the production process, thus reducing air pollution and waste of resources.
Detox
Social commitment, care for the environment and ethical behavior have been Tessilfibre’s core values for years.
Energy efficiency and eco-sustainable development, through the use of renewable energies, were the first challenges faced by the company to improve our commitment to respecting the environment.

Tessilfibre Foundation is based on the activity of rags trade.
'70s
Tessilfibre undertakes the new trade in synthetic fibres.
'80s
Installation of the combing plant.
'90s
New headquarters of the company in Poggio a Caiano.
